Dear Quilly Girls,
The other day, I was talking with a few close friends about women’s healthcare in this new year—because, let’s be honest, it’s not great. Every single one of us agreed that morning-after pills are expensive, unreliable, and weirdly shameful to buy, even though they shouldn’t be. We laughed about the absurdity of having to announce to the world (or at least to the cashier and everyone in the checkout line) that we’re buying a morning-after pill. And the thing is, even if you do get over the awkwardness, the 72-hour window to take it is way too short for a lot of people. So what happens when that time runs out? What if someone needs more than three days to make such a huge decision?
That’s exactly why we’re partnering with Plan-C—an organization dedicated to making at-home abortion pill knowledge accessible to everyone, in every state. Plan-C provides up-to-date information on how people in the U.S. can access abortion pills online. They do the research, break down state-by-state access, and help people understand their options without having to sift through confusing or misleading information.
But what really sets Plan-C apart is that they’re an information hub and an advocacy powerhouse. They’re committed to expanding access to reproductive healthcare, making sure people know their rights, and have plenty of options to choose where they find real support. They have collaborated with organizations like The Los Angeles Coalition for Reproductive Justice, the Abortion On Our Own Terms campaign, and the CA Future of Abortion Council. They’ve also worked with Allbodies to host an online workshop for nearly 300,000 people, partnered with Black Women for Wellness on the Get Smart B4 You Get Sexy campaign, and even teamed up with the Tampa Bay Abortion Fund to run a mobile billboard caravan spreading vital information.
Plan-C was co-founded by Amy Merrill, a passionate advocate for reproductive rights and a fellow Cal grad (Go Bears!). She and her team have dedicated their work to making sure people have accurate and reliable information when it comes to their reproductive health—without barriers, shame, or misinformation. They’re not just handing out resources; they’re fighting for a future where no one has to scramble or stress just to get the care they need.
There’s No One-Size-Fits-All Answer—And That’s the Point
Here’s the thing: there isn’t just one “right” choice when it comes to pregnancy. Everyone’s situation is different, and what matters most is having the freedom to make an informed decision that actually feels right for you—without pressure, stigma, or unnecessary hoops to jump through. That’s why, in addition to partnering with Plan-C, we also provide access to adoption agencies and support resources for young mothers on our site. Because real reproductive freedom isn’t just about having one option—it’s about having all the options, with clear, honest information and real support, no matter what you decide.
So whether you’re looking for Plan B (link here), researching abortion pill information through Plan-C, or considering parenting and want support, we’re here to make sure you have what you need—without judgment, without shame, and without anyone making the decision for you. Because when it comes to something this important, you deserve to be in control.
Love you,
xoxo Quilly
